How it all began...

It all started 7 years ago when my world collapsed (well, from my that time perspective:). After working 12 hours day by day and week by week I eventually found myself on the edge of breaking down and a complete burnout, and, as a cherry on the top, my long term relationship unexpectadly crushed and my the then partner, the one that I planned to be the father of my future kids, left, hardly even telling me anything. I simply couldn´t handle it, fell into pieces and found myself on a coach of a therapist. 

Eh, quite a strong beginning, right?

And one day, right at the moment when I was falling apart at my therapist´s place, my phone rang. I answered the phone and I could hear the voice of Eva, my good friend, who at that time happended to live in Vietnam.

"What?!? You guys broke up? Are you serious..?!? Wooow.... What to say... So what are you going to do? You don´t know yet? Hmm.... So why don´t you come over to Vietnam, you will like it here, no doubt abou that!"

Ehm...right, excellent idea. Thank you but no. It´s such a great advice as the one about pouring petrol into fuel. Thanks, but this is not going to work.

Yet my therapist saw it in a different light. She was like: yes you should go. It will pull you out from your after-breakup delirium. If Vietnam doesn´t help than nothing ever will, she went.   

What??? Did you all guys go mad? Vietnam? What the hell would I do there?! And where actually is it anyway? 

Well... and this is how it all started up. Not even two months after this phone call I actually did sit in a plane heading to Hanoi. I had no idea how long I was going to stay there. Nor what I was going to do there. But that was the right thing. Because if I had only known what was awaiting me, I guess I would have never boarded the plane.:)

There was Vietnam, there was Laos, there was Thailand, there were the mighty Himalayas, there was Kashmeer.... There were really many things and places. And I eventually stayed in Asia much longer than I originally imagined. 

What is my goal?

My goal is to inspire and to show that eventhough things might look as if it was the end of the world and nothing in life will ever have any meaning anymore, it is worth not giving up. I want to show that ain´t no puddle of mud that can´t be swum out of and ain´t no abyss that can´t be climbed out of. To show that if we only permit ourselves to do so, there might be a reward for us waiting just behind the corner. A reward that we have never even dreamt of.  

This campaign´s goal is to collect money needed for printing of the book. The book is already written, I myself covered the costs of graphics and editing, yet as for the printing costs I need some help.  

Currently we are at the stage of finishing the graphics of the book, so as soon as I manage to collect the necessary amount of money I will rush into the printing company and here we go, the book together with its awesome cover will see the light of the day! 

Details

This book maps falling into pieces and rising up again, it describes lost hopes and newly discovered horizons: But most of all it tells a story full of inspiration that it is worth not giving up. And that even after the heaviest of storms a lovely sunny morning will eventually  come again.

You will read about the Himalays and heavy motorbikes, about typhoons and the Dalai Lama, about a sea, Vietnamese immigration police and expulsion, about climbing and mountaineering, about thriller 6000 metres high as well as about cocktail parties in Vietnam.

Most of all you will read about the willpower of not giving up, of standing up again and of walking ahead, no matter how much life slaps you in the face. 

Who am I?

I am a blonde girl from Beskydy mountains who travelled half of the world. Who holds an university degree from law only to realize that this is something she really doesn´t want to do for living. Whose life turned upside down several times, yet she never gave up and step by step she went her own path in order to find out what she really wants. And that is to inspire and show others that following our own visions is worth doing, indeed.

Why do I do it? 

Because I believe that the more people learn not to give up in critical situations, the better our world will be. And Ï want to help this by inspiring people with my story. Because the story is all about what gifts might come out of space once we decide not to give up.
