How often should I walk on the path?
Ideally, regularly—feel free to do so every day or several times a week. Even a short walk, such as 5–15 minutes, is enough. Consistency is more important than duration. Walking barefoot on the reflexology path gently stimulates the points on your feet, promotes natural body movement, improves your sense of balance, and provides pleasant relaxation. Listen to your body and take the time that feels right for you
Can I install them in my garden myself?
Yes. Simply create a shallow bed in the soil, cover it with a layer of gravel (small stones), and place the Barefoot Mandala tile on top. This will ensure the tile is firmly secured and won’t sink or shift over time when walked on.
What is the quality of the concrete?
The tiles were originally manufactured at Art Studio and tested in a pilot project at the SOM yoga center in Sant Joan, Mallorca, Spain, in 2023. The path is still in use there today, confirming its functionality and durability in practice.
Production has now moved to the Czech Republic, where we collaborate with a concrete company that ensures top-quality vibrated concrete and professional manufacturing processes. As a result, the tiles are strong, durable, and suitable for long-term use both indoors and outdoors.
Can the path stay in place during the winter?
Yes. The tiles are frost-resistant, so they can remain in place even during the winter. They are designed to withstand normal outdoor conditions. We only recommend keeping the path clean and, in case of snow or ice, sweeping or clearing it before use to ensure safe walking.
How do you care for massage tiles?
Maintenance is very simple. Just wash the tiles with water and regular dish soap. For outdoor use, you can also rinse them with a hose or gently clean them with a brush. Thanks to their durable concrete construction, the tiles are suitable for daily use and outdoor environments.
What should you avoid doing?
The tiles do not need to be varnished or otherwise chemically treated. Varnish could cover the natural surface texture and reduce their massage and sensory effects. To preserve both functionality and natural appearance, we recommend leaving the concrete in its natural state.
What are the benefits of the Barefoot Path?
Every step on the Barefoot Mandala tiles gently activates the reflex points and meridians on the soles of the feet, thereby promoting blood circulation and the body’s natural vitality, helping to release tension, and transforming walking into meditation in motion—a conscious experience of the present moment.
Is the Barefoot Path suitable for children?
Yes, the Barefoot Path is also suitable for children. It stimulates the feet in a natural and playful way, develops sensory perception, and promotes healthy movement. Walking on varied surfaces can help children improve their balance, coordination, and body awareness, while also providing them with a fun and exploratory experience.
How many tiles do you recommend?
We recommend starting with at least 3–5 tiles to create a short sensory path so that the feet can perceive different textures over several steps. For a more fulfilling experience and longer meditative walks, 7–12 tiles are ideal, depending on the space and purpose of the installation. For larger gardens, parks, or wellness areas, we recommend a path consisting of up to 20 tiles, which will provide a longer and more profound sensory experience when walking barefoot.
Shipping and duration?
The campaign lasts 30 days. Following its successful conclusion, there is an approximately 15-day administrative period during which payments are processed and the project receives the funds raised.
Then the actual production of the tiles begins. Concrete needs time to cure naturally to achieve maximum strength, so production takes approximately 8 weeks.
You can start using your Barefoot Path during the summer of 2026.
Thank you for walking this path with us… soon even barefoot.
