SymBIOsa

How has it all started?

We have been aware of need for stopping contributing to accumulation of needless trash for a long time. Also awareness of necessity of concerning with issues like what and in which quality we consume, plus an unfavorable health state in the past, were the initial impulses to creation this superb project. 

What is our aim?

Our dream and wish is to create in Bratislava a wonderful harmonizing space – a cozy zero waste  shop with a mini bistro including, where people could feel entirely comfortably, buy mainly local staples and products, exclusively in the organic quality for a reasonable price, also certified ecological drugstore products and much more and it all without useless packages, coverings and wrappings of any kind, nourish their bodies by some delicious scrumptious and healthy dainties, meet and talk with an obliging and helpful staff – us, and recharge themselves with the positive energy.

Details

We are introducing to you the project, the main ideas of which are zero waste shopping, the best possible quality of local crops and products and hearty service to the customer.

This project is aimed at realization a lively and creative multifunctional space in the package free style, in which customers can buy mainly the local crops and products exclusively in the organic quality and especially in the package free state. Concretely these are: fresh and dried fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, seasoning, herbs, teas, mushrooms, sprouts, cereals, fresh sweets and salty tidbits hand-made by us on the spot, superfoods and adaptogens.

Another section supplementary to our assortment will be as well package free, eco-friendly, green and natural products such as: various laundry products, different kinds of eco-friendly household cleaning products and variable organic cosmetics and beauty goods. Certified eco fair trade clothes too.

At the beginning we would like to interconnect our shop with a mini bistro aimed at preparation nourishing foods made of the selected 100% eco and locally grown crops and products with the intention to bring to our customers the best possible quality with the top nourishing value. From the beginning we would like to offer in a minimal style all kinds of tasty and well balanced delicacies and dainties: healthy snacks, smoothies, fresh juices, shots of barley grass, desserts, delicious fresh salads, soups and beverages and so on...

… and yet something in addition

Maybe you asked yourself, what would you get by supporting this unique project? In the first place, thanks to successful realization the project you will contribute to awareness of the idea how easy is to live in an organic way and without useless packages, how to eat healthy and with the highest value of nourishment and the most importantly, you will support young and experienced people – us, who have much to say to the world. We want to help and we know how. The only thing, that separates us from factual realization, are finances gathered by your help whether in the form of gifts or interesting rewards. We would love to meet you in a friendly atmosphere in our shop, obligingly to help you with some advice and offer you some healthy delicious treats. :)

Who are we?

Our team consists of young, dedicated and in the section of Organic food and products experienced people.

I consider myself to be an open-minded, progressive and kind-hearted person with the sincere intention to be really helpful and effective to the society. I want to propagate my long-time experience and knowledge in a creative way to others, with smile and from my heart, to do the matters, which I live and like the most. I have been gathering experience and been working for somebody else for many years. Thanks to your support and financial help now is occurring the right time to do the business according to myself, carry out our dream and thus to be a positive inspiration, an incentive and useful to others too. I built the positive attitude to cooking and everything what is related to quality cuisine already in my childhood. I have had many opportunities to successfully test and prove my abilities in practice. I consider myself to be a caring and susceptible person with the sincere ambition to contribute to the positive progress of our society. I sincerely concern myself with other people. It worries me that they are often ill and they would not need to be in every case, if they only had known… I gladly help everyone, who is willing to listen. I am going to study Traditional Chinese medicine at a college in the oncoming autumn, because I feel necessity to interconnect Western Medicine with Traditional Medicine – that several thousand years old, proved and effective. :) (Liv)

Together we have made the synchronized team for eight years and we feel that now is the right time to make our dream come true. We both worked for the most successful companies in the ORGANIC segment and gastronomy in Slovakia for several years. We came to the point when we told ourselves that it is possible to do the business really honestly, thoroughly, more effectively and in a better way when we will manage it ourselves.

In the current time the majority of consumers bring home with them besides a purchase also a lot of needless packagings and wrappings that they do not know how to utilize them next. And, how we know well, it is not ecological, economical and effective at all. More simply than to learn how to recycle the trash and to make something new from it, is ideally by no means produce it. And we want to go this beautiful way. 

We have been aware of the importance of quality of natural foods and their composition for a number of years. Also this fact was for us one of the reasons in the past for years to work in the ORGANIC & ECO segment, where we gain plenty practical experience and especially personal contact with customers and their needs. We have realized the importance to inspire the community in which we live by that, what we believe in and particularly what we live.

Another reason is honesty and sincerity to our customers. We really want to do the business in honest way and from the heart. Therefore we want to completely devote ourselves to our work using holistic approach.

By this project we want to show simplicity and effectiveness of living in harmony with nature along with considerable decrease of living costs and maintaining nourishment in the best possible quality. We know the ORGANIC segment perfectly, we have many connections and plenty experience how to choose and offer the quality goods and for affordable price. As well, we are able to create tasty and at the same time full-value nourishing foods. Simply, the way we really live and how we shopping the most quality goods for ourselves, we want to spread among other people that are willing to be inspired and support this idea.

From the profit we want to regularly subsidize organizations dealing with nature protection, environment, animals and people. We also want to back up our local farmers, which grow their crops without chemicals and synthetic fertilizers in accordance with the original procedures of our ancestry.
