Prague Improvisation Orchestra & guests: debut album

PIO celebrated its five year anniversary in September 2017 with a two-day recording session with some excellent foreign guests in Czech Radio Studio A. Now we're going to release these recordings on a double LP with a fantastic cover by Klára Zahrádková.

PIO at Konfrontationen!

PIO just returned from the legendary Konfrontationen Festival in Nickelsdorf, Austria, where we played to a full, super appreciative audience. Along with guests Burkhard Stangl (guitar) Didi Kern (drums) and Xavier Charles (clarinet), all who played major roles on the recording, PIO presented super intense versions of music from the upcoming album. Special guest Tamara Wilhelm added her amazing home-built electronics! Super highlight for PIO.
