Davids and Goliath - Comics according to real events

Comics against totalitarianism! Support a comic book project that brings the crimes of the Chinese regime to light in a stirring story of investigations based on actual events. What can you change? People's indifference to evil that cannot be tolerated.

Where do the project authors come from?

Screenwriters, drawers, graphic artists and translators are all from Czech Republic, small country in central Europe. It is former Czechoslovakia, a country whose people lived for decades under the domination of the Soviet Union and the communist regime. The communist regime fell here in 1989.

What do we use the money for?

All the funds received will be used for the production of comic book, printing and distribution of comic book - in Czech, English and Chinese language.

If we raise more money than the target amount

We'll use the money to translate comics into other world languages.

What do you get from us if you support us?

Anyone who supports the comics will be kept informed of the progress of the work. You will receive by email the first finished sketches and drawings, you will receive an electronic version of the comic book and a hand-drawn poster to decorate your PC desktop or the wall of your room...

How we calculated the total amount 16 933 Euro?

The biggest item in the budget is naturally drawings. It will cost something to create a scenario that emerges from a script written on paper. Then we will have the first sketches, edits and re-creations into the final drawings, which will have to be colored and then we add the dialogs...
