What is supposed to be

Shared space where you can find everything for sewing. Open sewing studio during the day and evening courses as well. Gathering of kindred spirit? Maybe...

Where it will be

On Veverkova street in Prague 7, there is a small atelier. At the end of last year Fabric stories (kdotokdyslysel.cz) open their showroom there. Now is the time for us to share our love of sewing.

Why The Room needs your support

A shared sewing workshop could hardly operate on a purely commercial basis. Quality machines cost a pretty penny and we will need machines that won't fall apart after half a year of intensive use.

The proceeds of the workshop should be able to cover the operating costs - the person that will manage the room, a portion of the lease, the maintenance service for the machines that will be required from time to time, etc. If it is to run but stay accessible (the planned price for renting space in the sewing room is 80, - CZK / hour), the initial investment in the machinery will never be covered.
